Platform rules

Terms and Conditions

These Terms explain the basic rules for using AussieDaily.au, including accounts, business listings, service requests, bids, attachments, chats, reports, and moderation safety reviews.

Important launch note

This is a development-stage Terms and Conditions draft. It is not a replacement for professional legal advice. Before launch, review it with an Australian legal professional.

1. About AussieDaily.au

AussieDaily.au is a news, business magazine, service discovery, service request, and business listing platform for the Australian market. We help users discover content, post service requests, receive offers from approved providers, manage listings, and communicate through platform tools.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account unless the activity was caused by our own security failure. We may suspend, restrict, or remove accounts that appear unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, or in breach of these Terms.

3. Business listings and provider approval

Users may submit business listings for review. A listing may need CEO, Admin, or Editor approval before it becomes active or verified. We may reject, request changes, hide, suspend, or remove listings that are incomplete, unsafe, misleading, copied, unlawful, or unsuitable for the platform.

4. Service requests and offers

Users may post service requests and approved providers may send offers. Requesters should describe the job honestly and safely. Providers should only bid if they can reasonably perform the work, meet the stated requirements, and follow Australian consumer expectations for services such as due care and skill, suitability for the stated purpose, and reasonable timing.

5. Payments, quotes, and off-platform contact

In this phase, chats block links and direct contact details for safety. Do not pressure users to move conversations, payments, or personal information outside AussieDaily.au. Future payment or quoting tools may have separate rules, invoices, fees, refund terms, and dispute processes.

6. Chat safety, reports, and moderation review

Private chats are intended for accepted service bids, package work, enquiries, and platform communication. If a chat is reported, or if there is a safety, abuse, scam, fraud, payment, harassment, legal, or dispute issue, the CEO, Admin, or a dedicated safety/moderation team may investigate the relevant conversation, attachments, account details, and related platform records. Reviews should be limited to what is reasonably needed to handle the report, protect users, enforce rules, or comply with law.

7. Attachments and content you upload

You must only upload files you have permission to share. Do not upload malware, illegal content, private documents that do not belong to you, offensive material, or unsafe files. We may scan, block, remove, or restrict files and content for security and moderation reasons.

8. News, articles, comments, and user content

Content on AussieDaily.au may include editorial content, business shoutouts, user-submitted information, comments, reviews, listings, and service requests. You must not submit false, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, copied, infringing, spammy, or illegal content. We may edit, moderate, reject, or remove content where needed.

9. Privacy and personal information

We collect and use personal information to provide accounts, listings, service requests, offers, chats, moderation, security, support, and platform operations. You should also read our Privacy Policy. We aim to limit access to personal information to what is needed for platform operation, safety, dispute handling, legal compliance, and user support.

10. Australian Consumer Law note

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law. Service providers remain responsible for the services they offer and supply. AussieDaily.au is not automatically responsible for the quality, legality, timing, or outcome of services provided by independent users or businesses unless the law says otherwise.

11. Platform availability and changes

We may update, pause, remove, or change parts of the platform as we improve AussieDaily.au. We cannot promise that every feature will always be available without interruption, especially while the platform is still being built and tested.

12. Final legal review before launch

These Terms are a practical platform draft for development and testing. Before public launch, the wording should be reviewed by an Australian legal professional and matched with the final Privacy Policy, payment process, refund process, and complaint handling process.
